I’m home after traveling with my bestie to Sacramento and back, followed by us meeting up with a third bestie for a girls trip to the Oregon Coast, then finally ending the weekend with our “framily” day at the lake, partners and kiddos included. I’m trying to soak up as much time with loved ones as I can before our big move, and although my heart is overflowing, I’m tired.
Honestly, I do not want to be writing this right now. Instead, I would love to be in a hot bath, or watching season 5 episode 2 of Yellowstone (OMG!) with my sister, but I know it’s a slippery slope and if I don’t keep writing, I’m bound to fall off. So, I’ve decided to have some fun with this week’s writing with a card pull!
If you’re reading this, these tarot and oracle card pulls are for you! Let’s get into it!
A message from the Bees:
7 of Discs– Patience, Long-term view, Perseverance
This card invites you to step back from the day-to-day operations and look at the bigger picture. Celebrate what you’ve created and assess your progress. Are you on track? Are you focused on the right tasks for your goal? Suss out where your energy is being drained. If you’ve been working hard on something challenging for the last few months, it’s near its culmination. Your hard work will pay off! Sometimes, this card can indicate frustration with slow results. Be patient, appreciate the progress you’ve made so far, and try to focus on the present.
Messages from the Fairies:
Singer of the Chalice– Trust, Joy, Patience, Creativity, Hope, Miracles
Open your arms wide, like you’re ready to embrace a hug, and let the fairies bring the feeling of ALL good things in one– unconditional love, trust, hope, healing, patience, and so on. Open is open. Be open. If you don’t know how, ask them!
Ilbe the Retriever– Office of Unclaimed Property, Hopes, and Wishes. Loyalty.
This cheeky critter likes to hide your keys when he thinks you’d benefit from being more organized and tidy, or encourages your cats to hide things from you (they love this game!). Ilbe is a protector– he retrieves and keeps our lost hopes, forgotten dreams, and mislaid keys. He holds these seeds of our potential futures carefully and delicately until we are ready for their return. He is trying to remind you of something you’ve lost– a hope or maybe a dream. You thought it was gone forever but he is holding it out to you for reconsideration. He thinks you can do something with it now. The way may not be obvious but his clever nose has scented a path forward. He may also be saying that a long awaited dream is at last arriving on the scene and there is nothing we need to do but to open our hearts and minds to it. However, we usually have to work for it. Another attribute of Ilbe is loyalty.
An enchanted message from the garden:
Communication– St John’s Wort– Divination, Happiness, Strength, Protection, Love
The oil from St John’s wort is a blood red color and so has been naturally used in magick and rituals surrounding women’s mysteries, death, and birth. The flowers and leaves when hung over the bed will ensure longevity, and when hung in the highest part of the home or carried on your person will protect from lightning. You are being reminded to look after yourself and listen to your body and inner voice. There may be a conflict that requires more of your attention, and perhaps your voice and point of view needs to be communicated more strongly. This is an opportunity for growth, for the physical realization of hopes and dreams. Speak up but make sure you are clearly heard. Double check any form of correspondence to ensure it has been received.
A message from the Night:
Empty your mind!
